Artist's Description

A waxing gibbous moon is captured against the bright blue sky during daytime. The details of the lunar surface are moderately visible, showing the maria and craters in a relatively clear aspect.

Seeing the moon so clearly during the daytime, I decided try capturing it on camera to see if it would show up as clearly on there as it did to the eye. And I’m so glad that I did and that it did show up so beautifully.

This piece is about being in the moment and taking a shot. It’s about relaxing into your intuition and acting on inspiration. It’s about finding beauty through stillness and appreciating its goodness.
